NWMSU and Second Harvest team up to help students

MARYVILLE, Mo. - Northwest Missouri State University is joined by Second Harvest Community Food Bank to give to students in need by providing boxes of food.

Students who had previously applied to Northwest's Pay it Forward Fund were notified of the opportunity. On April 24, the Missouri National Guard, working with Second Harvest, delivered an estimated 2500 pounds of food to Northwest.

The Bearcat Food Pantry, which typically gives food to students in need, has been mostly emptied during the pandemic.
